Break the ice with a Chemo Shower!
If you look at some of the major events in your life, such as getting engaged, your hen do, and having a baby, they all have one thing in common. They are all defining moments in your life. I think it would be fair to say that being diagnosed with cancer and starting chemotherapy is also very life changing, most certainly a defining moment, and should be shared with your close friends and family.
A great way to do this is to have a Chemo Shower just like you had for all your other major events in your life. It’s a great way of getting rid of that elephant in the room – the one where no one quite knows what to say to you.
You may not control the cancer but you can control how you deal with it.
I’m not suggesting to have a full on party, but to break the ice in your relaxed environment with some good food and drink can really help how you cope with it.
